Missions
Actively participating in missions is how we reach and impact the world around us. At Southmont, we have several individuals and families that have answered the call to serve as missionaries, and we support these “fishers of men” both spiritually and financially.
A significant portion of our general budget supports global Baptist missionary organizations. In addition, Southmont provides several opportunities for youth and adults to participate in short-term mission trips regionally and internationally.
We also care about our community and it is our desire that all feel welcomed with open arms to our fellowship of believers. Whether you’re looking for friends, a family, a place to belong, a place to serve, or a place to call your own, Southmont is that kind of place.
As we reach out to our community, we desire to get to know each and every family. Through a variety of community service events from our Fall Festival to neighborhood barbecues, we intend to make sure everyone knows they are not only welcome, but truly wanted at Southmont.
