Our Purpose
The constitution of Southmont Baptist Church describes our purpose with this statement:
"The purpose of this church shall be the advancement of the kingdom of God. It shall seek to attain this purpose through the public worship of God, the preaching of the gospel of His Son Jesus Christ, consistent Christian living of its members under the direction of the Holy Spirit, personal evangelism, missionary endeavor, and Christian education."
