Visitor Central

We want your visit to Southmont to be a wonderful experience. Please look through this compilation of common questions for those visiting Southmont.
What should I wear?
Whatever you like is the best answer to this question. You will see very broad range of attire. Many of our people prefer a casual dress. We understand God is much more concerned with a person's heart than their clothes. Please dress modestly and have a reverence for where we are and who we are among.
When are the services?
We have two worship services on Sundays that feature two distinct worship styles and the same sermon. The early service begins at 8:30 A.M. and is contemporary in style and music. The 11:00 A.M. service features more traditional music and worship style. The Sunday School time begins at 9:50 and offers Bible study groups for all ages. We provide loving childcare for your entire morning at Southmont.
When should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 10 minutes before the service or Sunday School begins if you are not bringing children with you. You might want to arrive 15 - 20 minutes early if you are bringing children and head to the Reynolds Building first if you need to get small children situated with childcare. Be sure to look for our Guest Parking, located close to the front of the building. When you arrive please come by the Welcome Center to get information about Southmont and a cup of coffee and refreshments.
Where do I go when I get there?
As you enter the building please look for signs to the Welcome Center. It is located across from the Worship Center and exists to welcome you to Southmont and help you understand how to get where you want to go. Look for our greeters located at each door. They are available every Sunday morning to assist you and to find answers to your questions.
If you have children, you may go directly to the Reynolds Building where our Children's ministry calls home. You will know that this two-story building is for children from the moment that you walk in. From the brightly colored walls to the media-centric "Big Room", everything here is geared towards kids.
Our Youth department meets in the Southmont Activity Center, located towards the back of the campus.
